On a trip to Hawaii, I was walking hand in hand with a husband. I have a long-standing love for looking for shells and shark teeth. As we walked along my shell hoard growing by the minute in my pocket. Each precious shell went into my pocket and my flip-flop set down and picked up with each find. Four years ago, I worked in a local public school. I had taped together a couple common household items thinking I could maybe find someone who would be willing to help me “smoosh” these items into a new “thing”. Not many know how to “smoosh” or want to take the time to create my “crazy clip” idea into a real thing. I decided to check out the 3D printers at school. This is where I met Tommy, my designer and CAD genius. He was a freshman then. This year a senior. He has taken my vision and “smooshed” it into a real thing. A FlipClip. We have worked hard, learned lots and have met amazing, kind and generous people along the way. Now with patent in hand, we would like to introduce you to our FlipClip. A new way to carry things to allow you to do fun things. Like holding the hand of someone special or to collect that perfect shell for Grandma.
